I am pleased to welcome you to the Deanship of Scientific Research, fertile platform and a research environment with a constructive approach, in which we are keen to establish a scientific edifice for its foundations, scientific research that is built with the conscious minds of faculty members, which strives to meet the needs of development and keep pace with scientific acceleration, and developments in calamities, taking the hand of students and upgrading their academic and knowledge levels.

Hence, the mission of the Deanship of Scientific Research spares no effort to develop scientific research, through its continuous support for the efforts exerted in establishing pioneering scientific research, and supporting its journey to reach a product that has yielded bright results. IIn addition, the Scientific Research Deanship follows up scientific participations at the internal and external levels, such as conferences, scientific meetings, and periodical journals. It also contributes to achieving moral and material support for researchers, in order to reach what the mission of our esteemed global university and our benevolent country started from.

The Scientific Research Administration, represented by its deanship and its integrated structure follow up on the needs of students and the challenges they face.

It is the eye that takes care of their path and footsteps, so it follows those projects from their inception until they come out to the horizons of scientific research. Therefore, the goal that we seek is to reach the highest levels of sophistication and international quality standards; So that our university has a precedent of distinction in the fields of scientific research, and leadership in achieving the comprehensive mission of our university.

The Deanship of Scientific Research and Graduate Studies at the World Islamic Sciences University were established in 2008 AD. The Faculty of Graduate Studies was separated from the Deanship of Scientific Research and re-merged in 2015 AD under the name of the Deanship of Scientific Research and Graduate Studies, and in 2016 they were separated; For the Deanship of Scientific Research to play its role in supervising, developing and supporting scientific research, and to take upon itself the implementation of the general policies for scientific research stipulated in the Law of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

1- Achieving excellence and creativity for researchers among students and faculty members by providing an attractive research environment in the fields of scientific research and excellence.

2- Documenting the output of scientific research at the university in specialized and refereed scientific journals classified within international databases in order to distinguish academic and administrative practices in accordance with accreditation standards and national and international quality assurance.

4- Supporting scientific research projects and systematic book projects that are in line with the academic needs of the university and the needs of the local community in order to achieve the university's general goal of achieving excellence in academic practices.

5- Strengthening cooperation with other research institutions and deanships of scientific research in universities inside and outside the Kingdom in order to benefit from the expertise and experiences of others in the research fields in order to reach the university’s general goal, which is to deepen joint research cooperation with universities and local research centers in the region.

We aspire for the Deanship of Scientific Research at the world Islamic Sciences University to be a center for knowledge activity and excellence in scientific research locally and internationally and to develop its tools, according to the comprehensive quality approach that contributes to the achievement of societal development and its objectives, and to focus on improving the quality of scientific research and developing its tools, So that the research includes many majors and scientific programs, and all the necessary tools are harnessed for it to produce it in an optimal way by following up controlling the quality of scientific production, and related procedures, instructions and legislation.

The methodology through which we work confirms to consolidate the culture of research work and provide an attractive and polarizing environment that supports the excellence and creativity of distinguished researchers by supporting research and studies and publishing them in internationally classified and peer-reviewed scientific journals.
