Student Guide

Objective of the Admission and Registration Department

1- The Admission and Registration Department seeks to accept students and register them according to the principles of admission approved by the Jordanian Higher Education Council and in accordance with the instructions for awarding academic degrees at the university.

2- Contribute to consolidating the concept of diversity and attracting students of different nationalities and cultures.

3- Accuracy in following up students’ academic affairs and spreading awareness among them through regulations and instructions related to studies and exams.

4- Developing the skills of the administrative staff in the Admission and Registration Department continuously.

5- Keeping pace with technological development in areas related to admission and registration.

6- Providing accurate and secure data and reports to official authorities.

Responsibilities and Tasks

1. Submission of university enrollment applications and their transcripts in special lists to be used for admission purposes.

2. Announcing the names of students admitted to the university's faculties and preparing their files that contain their identification papers.

3. Preparing the weekly lecture schedules before the beginning of each semester, distributing them to the faculties, and announcing them to the students.

4. Completing the process of registering university students in various subjects, and conducting the processes of adding and withdrawing from subjects at the beginning of each semester.

5. Preparing various statistics about students and preparing final exam schedules at the end of each semester.

6. Receiving transcripts and distributing them to college registrants.

7. Monitoring students' grades and extracting their different averages.

8. Preparing lists of graduate students, outstanding students, warned students, dismissed students...etc.

9. Reviewing students' study plans.

10. Providing the embassies with the results of the scholarship students at their own expense.

11. Issuing transcripts, certifications, and any other documents needed by the student.

12. Participate in the preparation of the annual graduation ceremony.

13. Providing the computer center with information and data necessary for the purposes of admission, registration, exams, and programs.

14. Implementing instructions for awarding bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees at the university.
