Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and prayers and peace be upon the Master of Messengers, our Prophet Muhammad and his family and companions altogether. And after, the Sheikh Noah Judges Faculty of Sharia and Law was one of the first Faculties established in the University of Islamic Sciences. This Faculty was established in 2008 AD, and the Faculty includes two departments:

1. 1- Department of Jurisprudence and Its Fundamentals: It includes the majors of Jurisprudence and its Fundamentals, and Sharia and Law for the Bachelor’s level, and Jurisprudence and its Fundamentals and Shari’a Judiciary for the Master’s and PhD levels.
2. 2- The Comparative Law Department: It includes the major of Comparative Law for the Bachelor’s level, and Public Law and Private Law for the Master’s and PhD levels.

On behalf of my fellow members of the faculty and administrative staff, I am pleased to welcome you to the Faculty website and to introduce you to the information you need about the Faculty in terms of its mission, objectives, departments, scientific programs, study plans and other information.

Sheikh Noah Al-Qudah Faculty of Sharia and Law was established in 2008 AD as a successor to the Department of Jurisprudence and its Fundamentals, which was established in 2000 AD in the University Faculty of Fundamentals of Religion, which was affiliated to Al-Balqa Applied University. The Faculty began its official work in the first semester of the academic year 2008/2009.

Preparing qualified graduates with distinguished capabilities in the fields of Sharia and law in addition to scientific research skills, and preparing academically qualified Staff who are qualified for effective leadership in society.
