The Department of General Services plays an effective role that aims to serve students and university employees of the administrative and teaching staff and to improve the level of service provided to each sector. It works to provide all the necessary services to the university's guests and official visitors by providing the necessary means of transportation, maintaining the cleanliness of all university facilities, providing health conditions, observing and following up public safety matters in all university buildings and facilities, in addition to preparing gardens and green spaces so that it appears as a beautiful landmark. The department supervises the kiosks and restaurants invested within the university by monitoring their work and verifying their compliance with the agreements concluded with them and compliance with health and public safety conditions and securing water suitable for various uses at the university buildings. The tasks and duties carried out by the department through its sections and branches are summarized as follows:

1- Office of the General Services Department: preparing, printing, exporting and sending the correspondence of the department to the concerned authorities. Receiving and archiving the department's mail and completing its procedures. Recording the proceedings of the meetings and following up the implementation of the decisions issued by them. Organizing vacations and departures for the employees of the department

2- Section of Movement: Providing transportation services required by the nature of work at the university. Providing various means of transportation for participants in conferences and seminars that are held inside and outside the university and for participants in scientific trips outside the university. Conducting periodic maintenance of mechanisms and vehicles and maintaining them. Organizing special records for vehicles showing vehicle movement and distances. Organizing the movement of vehicles using movement order forms. Providing necessary water by means of a water transport tank.

3- Building and Facilities Services Section: It includes the following branches:

4- Section of Agriculture: Cultivation of fruit, forest and ornamental trees on campus.

5- Public Safety Section: Monitoring the readiness of alarm systems and fire extinguishers at university buildings.
