Legal Affairs undertakes several tasks, most notably the development of preliminary drafts for laws, regulations, instructions and foundations of the university and their follow-up with the relevant competent authorities, and the provision of advice and legal opinion in all aspects of the academic and administrative work of the university as well as the preparation and drafting of contracts and agreements for the university in various activities, including economic and investment; Follow up on cases in which the university is a party, plaintiff or defendant, participate in committees and meetings with relevant authorities, consider any issue or case that impedes the progress of work in the university and make the appropriate settlement in this regard, and follow up the legal and judicial activities of the university with the relevant authorities in the country based on the directives of the presidency of the university, and Providing legal assistance and guidance, whether for university employees or students, and keeping abreast of the legal developments required by the university’s progress and continuity in various fields for the success of the university’s march in achieving its desired goals, and carrying out any activities or tasks assigned to it by the university presidency.
