Scientific Research Board

             The Scientific Research Council was formed by Prof. Vice-President of the University as Chairman, and Prof. Dean of Scientific Research as Vice-Chairman and with members known for their scientific and educational competence, representatives of the academic faculties at the University and providing them with original and modern proposals that keep pace with the latest scientific developments. The Scientific Research Board secretariat coordinates and prepares for the periodic meetings of the Board.

Among the tasks of the Board: 

1. Proposing the scientific research policy at the university and its priorities.
2. Laying the foundations for cooperation and coordination with other bodies concerned with scientific research.
3. Considering and approving scientific research projects.
4. Discussing the annual budget for scientific research.
5. Discussing the annual report of the Deanship of Scientific Research.
6. Considering approval of authored, edited and translated manuscripts - after their evaluation - and recommending support for their publication.
7. Following up other matters related to scientific research.
