In 2013, The Center for the Rehabilitation of Imams and Preachers was inaugurated at the World Islamic Sciences & Education University, pursuant to Deans Council Decision No. 119/2013 AD, dated 26 / Jumada II / 1434 AH corresponding to 7/5/2013 AD

 Enhancing Jordan's role in spreading the truth of moderate Islam, and upgrading the skills of Imams and preachers, in an effort to keep up with the contemporary Islamic discourse of the usual Hashemite originality.

Mission

Training and qualifying qualified Imams and preachers to be effective , and “knowledgeable, skilled, and specialized.”

The goal is to build a Jordanian society that continues in:

• - Strengthening the role of religion.
• - Raising the status of man in every place and time.
• - Achieving the Jordan Quartet of its letters.

- Establishing a religion that has been cherished since the time of ancestors

- Supporting the oppressed and offering an outstretched hand

The goals of the center and its programs:

• Scientific and cognitive preparation of Imams and preachers.
• Training of Imams in systematic thinking that stems from the originality of thought and understanding of reality.
• Working on developing the capabilities and skills of Imams in the field of preaching, media work and communication with the public.
• Qualifying Imams and preachers scientifically and administratively through specialized courses based on scientific competencies in the university
• Preparing international scholars who raise the banner of Hashemite moderation in international forums.

Aspirations and future plan:

• - Establishing academic programs that grant professional diplomas and higher diplomas after the bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accordance with the instructions in force at the university. These programs are established by a decision of the Deans’ Council based on a recommendation from the council.
• - Holding training and qualifying courses for rhetoric and leading the prayers for university students and the Ministry of Awqaf after coordination with it or upon its request or any other internal or external bodies approved by the Council.
• - Holding courses in the provisions of intonation and interpretation according to the levels of the learners and according to the levels required to be rehabilitated.
• - Holding courses in jurisprudence and in the noble hadith according to the levels required to be rehabilitated
• - Holding qualifying courses for non-Arabic speakers on Islamic and Arabic civilization, in addition to some aspects of local civilization.
• - Holding seminars, lectures, general and specialized conferences as approved by the Council.
• - Assigning researchers from the center's staff and from outside to prepare studies and research that the council deems worthy of specialized research.
• ء- Establishing a specialized library that achieves the goals of the center.

Main achievements::

• - The first training program in the Islamic world (The Art of Media Influence). Three seasons have been presented so far, with approximately 150 participants. Among its results, many participants obtained distinguished media job opportunities, including the media spokesman in the Ministry of Awqaf, and legal personalities participated, including the director of the King Abdullah II Institute, who praised the distinguished level of training.
• - The Public Preacher Competition (the first in the world and in Islamic universities) in a completely new initiative, a competition for mass preachers was held through training in making a short film for educational and religious programs. Judging committees attended at the highest religious and official level, among them: Dr. Wael Arabiyat, Dr. Muhammad Ratib Al-Nabulsi, Director of Jordan Television, Mr. Muhammad Al-Tarawneh, Director of Iqraa Channel, Mr. Alaa Al-Tamimi, and from the University of Jordan, Dr.Nida’a Zaqzouq, and the Jordanian Radio, Dr. Hussein Al-Rawashdeh, Director of the American Open University, Dr. Hashim Nghemish, Head of the Media Department... The participants were honored by the university, and some of them got suitable job opportunities.
•   - Courses of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs and Holy Sites. The center participates in qualifying and training employees of the Ministry of Awqaf, developing performance and raising efficiency through specialized programs in religious media.
