The Faculty seeks to spread moderate Islamic thought emanating from Qur’an and Sunnah, whether through programs offered at various levels in the faculty or scientific seminars and conferences at the local and global levels.

The Faculty of Da'wah and Fundamentals of Religion( Usul Addin) was established in 1990, and it was affiliated with the Ministry of Awqaf, Islamic Affairs and Holy Sites in the Kingdom under the name of the Faculty of Da'wah and Fundamentals of Religion, then it was affiliated in 1997 AD to Al-Balqa Applied University, and it was named the Faculty of Fundementals of Religion. A special building was built for it, which is now within the university campus at the university’s main site. It was previously honored by the inauguration of His Royal Highness Prince Ghazi bin Muhammad, may Allah protect him, on Saturday the fifth of Jumada al-Awwal for the year 1424 AH corresponding to the fifth of July of the year 2003 AD. Then it became one of the Faculties of the World Islamic Sciences & Education in 2008 AD, and it is considered the core of the university as it is the oldest faculty in the university.

To provide Jordanian society and the Arab and Islamic worlds with graduates with a high level of competence and responsibility, who are able to highlight the bright image of Islam and correct misconceptions about it, to work in the field of advocacy, education and administration.
