Arabic Language Center for speakers of Other Languages faces a great challenge, as teaching it is the main path through which the Arab-Islamic civilization reflects its culture, and it is a means of informing others about the reality of this civilization, and refuting the ideas promoted by the enemies of Arabs and Muslims from an inferior view of Islamic thought. Therefore, the center seeks to invest in the interest of the “other” in learning this language, to win them over and draw their attention to the reality of Islam, and to clarify its basic issues in their realistic form, not as others reflect them.

To achieve that, Arabic Language Center for speakers of other Languages was established in 2000, and it played an important role in teaching Arabic language for a great number of students from European, Asian and African countries, and many of them pursued their university studies, whether in Jordan or in other Arab universities, to return to their countries with certificates that qualify them to work in teaching Arabic language with high ability and competence.

The center seeks to achieve a number of specific goals and objectives, including:

1. Developing the skills of participants in Arabic language.
2. Teaching communication skills in Arabic to non-Arabic speakers.
3. Providing students with various listening skills and preparing them mentally to acquire linguistic knowledge.
4. Ensuring continuity of education for the beginner student, which increases the educational outcome.
5. Integrating foreign students into the local community through linking them with friendly relations with the Arabic linguist, and the possibility of integrating them with Arab families who teach them Arab culture in general.
6. Teaching students all the sciences of Islam, for this would result in expanding the religious dimension of Arabic language.

     With these goals, Arabic Language Center for speakers of Other Languages aims to be a global center that attracts its students from all over the world, and provides them with Arabic language sciences using simplified methods in accordance with international quality standards, and employing the latest technological techniques in teaching.
