The Faculty of Da'wah and Fundamentals of Religion included three main departments:

Department of Faith and Islamic Philosophy. Department of Interpretation and Sciences of the Qur’an
The Department of Hadith and its Sciences. However, these departments were combined under one department, which is the Department of Fundamentals of Religion, to include:

a- Specializing in Islamic faith and philosophy, and granting a master's degree and a doctorate degree in this specialization.

b- Specializing in the interpretation of the Qur’an and its sciences, and granting a master’s degree and a doctorate degree in this specialization.

c- Specializing in Hadith and its sciences, and grants a master's degree and a doctorate degree in this specialization.

This department also supervises the subjects taught at the bachelor's level in the aforementioned majors.
