Motivating Muslims to learn the frequent recitations in which the Great Qur’an was revealed, and which the Prophet, may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him, recited and communicated to us with frequency. Providing universities, faculties, institutes and schools in the Kingdom and abroad with specialists from the reciters to teach the readings of the Holy Qur’an verbally and using modern technical methods. Upgrading the level of imams, preachers and reciters in the Kingdom in particular and in the Islamic countries in general, by mastering the recitation of the Noble Qur’an so that they can perform their advocacy mission in building the individual and society. Preparing studies in Quranic readings and studies, writing specialized researches by the researchers in the department, and exchanging research experiences between the department and research centers locally and abroad.
Objectives 1-Developing curricula for teaching Quranic recitations, so that they become comprehensive, not only based on memorizing the verses of the Holy Qur’an, but also teach the student the culture of recitations and related sciences such as interpretation, miracles, rhetoric, grammar, belief, jurisprudence and other sciences.
