The Faculty of Graduate Studies was established in the year 2008 AD under the name “Deanship of Scientific Research and Graduate Studies”, and in the year 2010 AD the graduate studies were separated from the scientific research and its name became the “Faculty of Graduate Studies” in order to develop, facilitate and sponsor postgraduate programs and achieve its vision to be distinguished locally, regionally and globally

The Faculty of Graduate Studies was established in the year 2008 AD under the name “Deanship of Scientific Research and Graduate Studies”, and in the year 2010 AD the postgraduate studies were separated from scientific research and its name became the “Faculty of Graduate Studies” in order to upgrade postgraduate studies to keep pace with global developments.

The Faculty derives its vision from the general vision of the university, as the Faculty seeks to become a regional center of research excellence globally, by distinguishing its academic programs, cultural activities, and its role in community service.

The Faculty of Graduate Studies seeks to achieve the university's goal of developing the capabilities and skills of postgraduate students through developing and evaluating study plans for the specializations offered in accordance with the latest developments, creating academic programs appropriate to the requirements of the accelerated era, contributing to the cultural, cognitive, moral and Islamic construction of the student and deepening national belonging through the provision of educational and research services according to the reference standards to meet the needs of professional, academic and research development in areas needed by the local and global community.

-Excellence in scientific research, creativity and innovation for postgraduate students related to writing theses for doctoral and master’s degrees, and deepening joint research cooperation between postgraduate students with local, regional and international universities and research centers.
