Mission

The Human Resources Department at the World Islamic Sciences and Education University (WISE) seeks to provide pioneering services that attract, support, and inspire excellence in the university community.

Vision

Our ambition is to create a work environment that provides employees with opportunities for development, creativity, and participation in success and excellence.

Objectives :

• Establishing a work environment that respects religious values, ethics, and human relations.
• Strengthening the open communication means in the university community between members of the academic and administrative staff.
• Adding qualitative value to the university through developing and modernizing its working methods, exploiting the available resources, and seeking to accommodate the world's modern technology regarding its field.

Responsibilitiess

• Assisting the university President in developing human resources regulations.
• Updating work procedures and rules in partnership with faculties, departments, and centers.
• Review the application of procedures, rules, and regulations for university employees in general, and make recommendations to higher authorities in case of disagreements and obstacles to find solutions.
• Assisting senior management in taking the required decisions.
• Providing faculty members, deans, employees, and their superiors with advice, guidance, and practical support regarding their work at the university.
• Developing organizational structures in faculties, departments, and centers to keep pace with expansion and development.
• Preparing reports and statistics about academic and administrative staff to submit them upon request to the university president or external parties.
• Working legally and efficiently within the framework of legislation and laws that are closely related to the human resources work at the university.

To work hand in hand with the university administration in order to improve academic and administrative work and enhance effective collective participation to build a competitive environment that carries the mission and values of our university, through:

• Maintaining excellence in performance and competence in development.
• Involving employees and urging them to rise in the service.

Therefore, the Human Resources Department will do its utmost to improve and develop the employees' skills at the university, to hone their talents, their functional creations, and their creative ideas, encourage them to acquire new skills and give them opportunities to use them. That reflects in a creative way on the university community in order to increase effectiveness, productivity, and job satisfaction, and to ensure taking the university to the best and highest levels. Therefore, we have committed ourselves to work hard in the spirit of participation and sharing of responsibility, exchanging and accepting creative and innovative ideas so that our department becomes focused on encouraging and supporting this by: • Continuous training to preserve the knowledge currently available to our employees and to notify them of the knowledge derived globally and in its latest manifestations. • Design jobs and titles commensurate with modernity and adhere to our religion, morals, and values. • Encourage and support our employees to learn, know, and train to build their careers and achieve their career and personal goals

Instructions

• When you join the work, discuss with your department manager and inquire about the laws, regulations, responsibilities, required tasks, and what is expected of you. • Know and ask what the mission, vision, and goals are of your department, then of your university. • Meet the relevant employee in the Human Resources Department to inquire about our university's laws, regulations, and procedures. • Ask about the organizational structure in your department and where you are located. • Ask about working hours, the attendance and departure mechanisms, and the fingerprint system. • Ask about your e-mail, personal computer, and office phone and the systems for their use, and ask about the necessary procedures for requesting office supplies, your university ID, your printer, your fax machine, and any other necessary equipment for your work. • Walk around the campus and its buildings to get acquainted with the faculties, department buildings, the presidency building, and buildings for support services. • Ask about the mechanism and controls for using your official leave. • Ask how you will receive your salary and the banks to which it is allowed to be transferred. • Ask about parking and how to get your car entry permit. • Ask about the employee portal system and get your account and password. • Reading the university's website to follow up on the university's news, information, and data. • Reading the Human Resources Department's website for information on previous and subsequent circulars, and to keep abreast of our latest activities.
