Department of Computer Science

The Department of Computer Science was established in 2008 and the department is the backbone of the Faculty of Information Technology. The Department of Computer Science offers an outstanding bachelor's degree program in computer science. The Department of Computer Science at the World Islamic Sciences and Education University contributes to building a generation armed with science and qualified to work in the labor market. The department, in cooperation with public and private Jordanian universities, is considered a major and important element in providing basic computer-related skills and knowledge for specialists and contributes to providing and acquiring basic skills for non-specialists.

To build a scientifically and research distinguished student who is able to adapt and respond quickly and provide a distinguished scientific environment that responds to all the challenges of the 21st century.

 

Mission

Preparing and qualifying students to work in various technical fields according to academic and professional standards, by providing students with modern knowledge, advanced skills, positive values and attitudes towards work in the fields of computers and information.

• -Providing students with all the basic skills and knowledge to build coherent, effective and reliable scientific models and build high-quality software outputs
• -The student's knowledge of the comprehensive theoretical framework in computer science, design and management of networks and management of Internet services, knowledge of the concepts and languages of structured, visual, oriented and web programming in addition to the development of their software.
• To know the design of databases and how to search and manage them, knowledge of data security and ways to protect it.
