History and Islamic Civilization was established at the beginning of the first semester of 2015/2016, and the department’s subjects were taught at the beginning of the first semester of the academic year 2016/2017 to grant a bachelor's degree, where it was well received, the aim of its establishment is to contribute to the dissemination of Islamic civilization and to show its role in the course of human civilization, and to create a generation that believes in its history and heritage, based on its cultural heritage for the sake of progress and excellence.
The department seeks to achieve the following goals:
- -Studying the past of the Arab Islamic nation to understand its present and plan for its future through studying the successive historical periods of the nation.
- - Continuous development of study plans and improvement of the quality of education in line with the spirit of the times and the requirements of the labor market.
- -Empowering students with multiple scientific research skills and developing their analysis, transfer and conclusion capabilities.
- -Emphasis on the Arab-Islamic identity and the statement of the material and moral achievements of the Islamic civilization.
