Department of Special Education

The Department of Islamic Banks is considered one of the departments established since the beginning of the foundation of the Faculty of Finance and Business due to the importance of this specialization in the labor market, and the increasing demand for graduates of the Department of Islamic Banking at the national level and international financial institutions. especially in light of the growing demand for Islamic banking after this sector has proven highly efficient in financing and investment, and this coincided with the emergence of a major shortcoming in the traditional banking system based on usury.

Vision

The Department of Islamic Banking derives its vision from the vision of the Faculty of Finance and Business, which emanates from the vision of the World Islamic Sciences and Education University, and seeks to be a leader in academic and research work. The department seeks to be the best choice for scholars and learners in the field of Islamic banks and for the department to be at the top of the ranking of Islamic banking departments at the level of Jordanian universities and the Arab region.

Mission

Our mission is to prepare and qualify students by providing them with the necessary knowledge of Islamic banking that qualifies them for successful jobs in various Islamic banking sectors. Our focus is on university education for the specialization of Islamic banks at the bachelor's and postgraduate levels (Master of Islamic Banks, Doctorate of Philosophy in Islamic Banks) through the preparation of academic programs that balance academic aspects with the requirements of the Jordanian labor market in the field of Islamic banks.
