Summary:
The Department of Science was established in the College of Arts and Sciences by Deans Council Resolution No (23/2024) on 9/5/2024 AD to be the basis for achieving the university’s desire to establish scientific colleges that keep pace with the requirements of the times. The Department includes two programs, namely: Mathematics major and Chemistry major. Student study in this major 132 credit hours, divided into (27) university requirements hours, (21) college requirements hours, (81) specialization hours, and (3) free hours.
The mathematics and chemistry majors constitute the basic building blocks for many scientific majors, such as engineering, technology, statistical studies and research, the medical sector, pharmaceuticals, the industrial sector, and laboratories.
Students in the Science Department is prepared to be able to keep pace with technological development in the labor market.
The Science Department includes distinguished faculty members in teaching and scientific research who are graduates of prestigious universities
