The Department of Curriculum and Teaching started as a division of the Faculty of Educational Sciences at the first semester of the academic year 2013/2014, after being integrated into the Department of Educational Sciences in the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Educational Sciences, which was established under the name of the Faculty of Educational Sciences since the university was founded in 2008. The number of faculty members in Section is (14) in various majors of curriculum and teaching and academic levels.

Masters in Curriculum and Teaching in various disciplines. Higher Diploma in Teacher Education in Languages, Science and Mathematics, Social and Human Sciences, and Education Technology. PhD in Educational Administration.
The Department of Curriculum and Teaching seeks, by virtue of the nature of the work for which it was established and the target groups it serves, and in accordance with the University's regulations and instructions to achieve the following objectives:
Preparing students / teachers who are academically and academically qualified to teach in different educational stages.
Rehabilitation of teachers and leading educational leaders in their various schools and locations, who are capable of conducting supervision and training, and analyzing, designing and developing curricula.
Preparing qualified individuals capable of carrying out research in different fields of curricula and teaching. Conduct scientific research in the fields of curricula, teaching, teachers, students and others with the aim of contributing to the development and advancement of the educational process.
To serve the local community through coordination with schools in the Kingdom and to cooperate with them in carrying out researches that address their educational issues and problems, identify the training needs of their teachers and hold courses and workshops for them in light of this, in addition to the various services provided by the Faculty of Educational Sciences to the local community and university
